Nanotechnology for long lasting phone battery.

With nanotechnology now it is possible to have mobile devices that can run for months without charging.

Scientists have developed an ultra low power digital memory that uses more than 100 times less energy that the current versions. This will enhance battery life of mobile phones and other portable devices.

Currently flash memory stores bits as charge requiring very high programming voltages. This new technology has lowered the power bit to 100 times less than existing phase change materials memory. The new technology uses carbon nanotubes instead of metal wires. These nano tubes are 10,000 times smaller than a human hair.
